With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Christian Vincent Betancourt, who died on June 11, 2026, at the age of 26. Born on October 26, 1999, in Clinton, Maryland, Christian moved to Greenbrier, Arkansas, at the age of six, where he spent the remainder of his childhood and created countless memories that would shape the man he became. Christian loved the outdoors and embraced every opportunity for adventure. He spent his younger years playing baseball, fishing, four-wheeling, and making lifelong memories with his cousins. Whether he was on a back road, by the water, or under an open sky, Christian found joy in exploring and appreciating the beauty of nature. One of Christian’s greatest loves was his family. He treasured every gathering and especially enjoyed traveling anywhere as long as the whole family was together. His laughter, loyalty, and caring heart made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Christian had a special bond with animals and considered his dogs part of his family. Neo, Charley, and DroDi held a special place in his heart, and he cared for each of them with unwavering love and devotion. He was a proud and devoted uncle to his nephew, Felix, and his five nieces, Lily, Rylee, Madi, Ceci, and Rowyn. Being “Uncle Christian” was one of his greatest joys, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with them, make them laugh, and create memories they will carry with them forever. Christian also enjoyed working on cars and trucks with his brother-in-law, Erik, and exploring the outdoors with his brother-in-law, Ethan. Whether he was turning a wrench in the garage or discovering all manners of sea life, he found happiness in sharing experiences with those he loved. Christian cherished the time he spent at the Roubidoux Creek with his girlfriend, Bethany, and her daughters, Ginny and Serenity. Those days spent enjoying the beauty of nature, making memories together, and sharing laughter were among his happiest moments. He treasured their companionship and the special bond they shared. Above all else, Christian was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved deeply and lived fully, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, adventurous spirit, and love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Christian is survived by his loving parents, Vince Betancourt and Angie Betancourt; his sisters, Allison Chapman and Emily Betancourt; his nephew, Felix; his nieces, Lily, Rylee, Madi, Ceci, and Rowyn; and countless extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever. Christian’s legacy will live on in every family gathering, every outdoor adventure, every wagging tail, and every story told in his honor. Memorial Service A memorial service celebrating Christian’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory, share stories, and celebrate the love and joy he brought into the lives of so many.
