Christine Kay Bell

Christine Kay Bell, daughter of Harold Milton Cool, Sr. and Beatrice Ilene (Parkhurst) Gibson, was born June 27, 1964 in Adrian, Michigan; she grew up and attended school in Addison, Michigan. On August 27, 1983, Christine was united in marriage to John William Bell. They shared 40 years of marriage together and were blessed with two children: Stefanie and Joseph, who were her pride and joy. Christine and her family stayed in Michigan for a few years before moving to the Waynesville, Missouri area in 1987 where they remained until 2017. At that time, they moved to Lebanon, Missouri where they were residing when Christine passed away. While living in the Waynesville area, Christine worked on Fort Leonard Wood for the AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service) department store. She retired after 33 years of faithful service. After moving to Lebanon, she worked for a short time at the Department of Motor Vehicle office. In her spare time, Christine enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was working in her flower gardens, vegetable garden, watching her various animals from the back porch or just going fishing. Christine also enjoyed reading and crafting when time would allow. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She was always looking for a reason to have family get-togethers because she loved them deeply and treasured those times they could spend together. Christine passed away Saturday, in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri having attained the age of 59 years. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, John Bell of the home in Lebanon, MO; her two children, Stefanie Fernandez (John) of Lebanon, MO and Joseph Bell (Mylisa) of Waynesville, MO; seven grandchildren, Landon, Syleena, LaDanien, Christyana, Kamryn, Genevieve, and Kenadii; two step-grandchildren, Toryana and Vandyn; two step-great-grandchildren, Bailey and Bentleigh; her siblings, Roseanne Crownover of Cuba, MO, Harold Cool, Jr. (Arleen) of Lebanon, MO, and Ramona O’Neal of Labelle, FL; a number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family members, relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her sister: Carolyn Cool; and one brother-in-law: Douglas Crownover, Sr. Even though she is gone from our sight, Christine’s love and commitment to her family will live on in our hearts forever. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert with Bro. Robin Salsman officiating. The songs “Angels Among Us” by Alabama, “Broken Halos” by Chris Stapleton, and “Mamaw’s House” by Thomas Rhett were played. Serving as escorts were Kevin Day, Daniel Crownover, Michael Cool, Thomas Cook, Johnathan Radosevich, and Landon Fernandez. Burial followed in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Christine Bell and may be left at Memorial Chapel.
