Hilarry May Elorde

Hilarry May Elorde was born May 2, 2001 in Teresa, Rizal Philippines to Leonida Elorde Lowery. Hilarry was born and raised in the Philippines for 15 years. She finished the 9th grade in Tomas Cladio Colleges and was ranked as 8th in her class. She was a member and officer of the Philippines Citizenship Advancement Training program as a Corps Executive Officer. She then came to the United States and studied at Waynesville High School for her 10th and 11th grade years. Hilarry was very creative, artistic and musically gifted. She loved to write poetry and essays, and paint and draw. Hilarry was also interested in politics, government and law. She enjoyed listening to Christian and good old songs and could play the guitar, piano and flute and she could also do a pretty good beat box. She was the pianist in her band “Bandalism”. While still in the Philippines, Hilarry attended the God’s Way of Life Christian Fellowship where she was the pianist for their praise and worship team. After coming to the United States, she attended Amazing Grace Fellowship Church in Crocker, Missouri and was played the bass guitar for their praise and worship team. Hilarry loved her family and she loved cars, our truck and she enjoyed driving around the city with her sister, Alaina. Missy/Hilarry and Alaina were inseparable. Hilarry passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 in the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri having attained the age of 17 years. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Hilarry is survived by her mother: Leonida Lowery and seven siblings: Reighran del Prado, Vanessa del Prado, Domino del Prado, Mystica del Prado Mesina, Alexis del Prado, Goldea del Prado and Alaina Elorde; five nephews; three nieces; other relatives and friends. Hilarry was preceded in death by her grandfather: Dioscoro Elorde in May 2017; stepfather: Kenneth Lowery in March 2017; and one nephew: Zander Abraham Mesina in October 2015. Services were held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church of Crocker, Missouri with Pastors Richard and Debra Harris officiating. Serving as escorts were family and friends. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Hilarry Elorde and may be left at the funeral home.
