Jacquelyn Caroline "Jackie" Leflore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacquelyn “Jackie” C. LeFlore, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 20, 2025, who left us far too soon. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii January 29,1984 and she lived a life full of energy, independence, and love. Jackie was an awesome mother, a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, and a great friend—an irreplaceable light in all our lives. Her greatest joy and purpose was her son, Gavin, who was not just the center of her world but the heart of her every decision, every dream, and every prayer. Gavin always told her “I love you with all my heart mom”. From the very beginning, Jackie poured her love into Gavin to be joyful, kind, respectful, and faithful. She encouraged him to embrace life fully whether through sports, learning, or simply laughing—and instilled in him a spirit that is both humble and fiercely determined. Jackie’s love for Gavin was limitless. She worked hard to give him the best of herself—her strength, her values, her unwavering belief that he could become whoever he wanted to be. In him, her legacy lives on. To her family, Jackie was the one who always reached out, kept us close, and reminded us of the power of love and connection. She wasn’t just a sister or a daughter; she was our best friend, our confidante, our constant. She shared a deep bond with her nephew Kaiden and niece Ashira, whom she adored and cherished like her own. Jackie had a presence that couldn’t be ignored. She lit up every room with her vibrant energy, her infectious laughter, and that unmistakable spark in her eye. Strong-willed and fiercely independent, she lived her truth without apology by making sure that her faith in Christ was paramount. She was beautifully stubborn, in the way only someone full of passion and courage can be. People gravitated to Jackie. She welcomed everyone with open arms and an open heart, forming friendships that were genuine and lasting. Her soul was generous, and she made everyone feel like they mattered. Jackie was a tireless worker and a lifelong learner. From a young age, she had an entrepreneurial spirit and a gift for seeing solutions where others saw problems. She believed in lifting others up, in creating change, and in building a life of purpose. Her days were full—of ambition, laughter, of connection. Though her time with us was far too short, Jackie’s impact is everlasting. She leaves behind a tapestry of love, stitched together by the lives she touched, the hearts she held, and the dreams she inspired. We are heartbroken, yet profoundly grateful to have walked this earth with her. We do not say goodbye, but instead, we say: Until we meet again. You live on in Gavin, in all of us, and in the countless moments you made brighter just by being you. Rest peacefully, Jackie. You will be missed more than words can ever say—but your love, your light, and your legacy will never fade. Jackie is survived by her beloved son Gavin C. LeFlore, her mother Maria Vigil and her stepfather Joe Vigil, her biological father Herbert LeFlore, her sister Brandon C. LeFlore (Kaiden) and brother Martin B. Vigil and his wife Rebecca Vigil (Ashira). She is survived by multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert with Jackie's father, Joe Vigil officiating. Several family members recalled their wonderful memories of Jackie. Burial followed in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville, MO. Services were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jackie Leflore and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
