Jamil Lamar "Moe" Parker

Jamil Lamar Parker (Jsnook Da Barber) (Moe) was born at Kentucky Fort Knox Army Hospital on May 11, 1985, to Jimmy Parker (Father) and Elizabeth Parker (Taylor) (Mother). His older sister is Kenisha Parker-Gipson (Kenneth). Jamil accepted Christ in his life at a young age at Glory Land Harvest Church. Jamil received his high school equivalency diploma in 2004. In 2014 He received his associate’s degree in General Studies at Central Texas on Fort Leonard Wood Army Base. Moe furthered his education and became a Master Barber. He opened his own business called Genuine Cuts Barber Shop in 2016. Jamil served as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army National Guard in 2005, where he deployed to Afghanistan. Jamil’s infectious smile, warm heart, and Genuine friendship made a lasting impression on all who knew him. Moe’s contagious personality would light a room with his charm and jokes. He was very competitive in any sport he played, especially pool. He was a big Los Angeles Lakers fan, but a truer Kobe Bryant fan. He was a football fanatic always supporting his team, The Philadelphia Eagles. “Fly Eagles Fly” Brother Parker was an example of benevolence and charity throughout his life. His support for children and the elderly alike was unwavering. This recently led him to become a Master Mason of King Solomon Lodge #15. In 2013 Jamil met the love of his life, Regina, and they exchanged wedding vows on Oct 17, 2015. Their love story began, and the two became one. Jamil loved and cherished his new family of 8: Jamil Parker, Jr., Anniston Salvia, Kason Salvia, Reona Morgan, Chaunice Morgan, and Keon Morgan. We, the family of Jamil (Moe), would like to say thank you for your calls, cards, monetary gifts, kind words, and most of all, the prayers during this time of bereavement. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife: Regina Parker of St. Robert, MO; father: Jimmy Parker of Ratcliff, KY; mother: Elizabeth Parker of Magnolia, AR; six children: Jamil Parker, Jr., Anniston Salvia, Kason Salvia, Reona Morgan, Chaunice Morgan, and Keon Morgan; one sister: Kenisha Parker Gipson (Kenneth) of Louisville, KY; brothers-in-law: Antoine Washington (Trina) of Columbia, MO, Jason Logan of St. Louis, MO; father-in-law: Reginald Logan of St. Louis, MO; mother-in-law: Phyllis Jones of St. Louis, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
