Linda Tisdale

Linda Diane Tisdale, daughter of the late Robert M. Bard, Jr. and Roberta (Blackwell) Bard, was born October 8, 1953 in Mount Kisco, New York. As a young girl, she went to school in Rockville, Connecticut. Linda was united in marriage to Henry Minor and they shared three children: Kimberly, Philip and Kevin. She later married Paul Tisdale on January 26, 2000 and they shared two children: Amanda and Matthew. Linda worked for the state of Missouri as a receptionist for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, taking care of her animals, watching trains and birds. Linda was known for her wicked sense of humor. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. Linda passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 in the University of Missouri Hospital of Columbia, Missouri having attained the age of 63 years, and 7 months. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Paul Tisdale of Holts Summit, MO; five children: Kimberly Roan (Shawn Holman) of Cantonment, FL, Philip (Jamie) Minor of Lebanon, MO, Kevin Minor of Waynesville, MO, Amanda (Dean) Feuerborn and Matthew Tisdale of Sydney, Australia; three sisters: Cynthia Wotherspoon, Patti Olney and Kimberly Young; one brother: Robert Bard III; thirteen grandchildren: Zachary Henson, Cory Minor, Bailey Roan, Keelie Minor, Annie Minor, Kirsten Mathers, Lleyton Roan, Allayna Roan, Kaiden Minor, Payton Minor, Vanessa Tisdale, Brooklyn Minor and Lucas Henson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert with Pastor Christopher Hendrix officiating. The songs “How Can I Help You Say Goodbye” by Patty Loveless, “Home Among the Gumtrees” by John Williamson, “One More Day” by Diamond Rio, “True Blue” by John Williamson and “Love, Me” by Colin Ray was played. Inurnment followed in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linda Tisdale and may be left at the funeral home.
