Robert Jay Clark II

Robert Jay Clark II, son of the late Robert Jay Clark I and Hazel (Taush) Clark, was born November 10, 1944, in Steubenville, Ohio. He entered his eternal home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, having attained the age of 80 years. Robert grew up in Steubenville where he graduated from high school. Shortly after graduating from high school, Robert entered the United States Navy and served his country faithfully until his honorable discharge. After his discharge from the military, Robert moved back to his home state of Ohio where he began working as an electrician and retired after many years of service. Robert was blessed with four children: Robert, Benjamin, Tonya, and Crissy, and he loved them dearly. After Robert retired from being an electrician, he followed his daughter and her husband, who was serving in the military, to different duty stations. They moved to the St. Robert, Missouri area in 2012 where he has remained until his passing. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing with his grandchildren and camping. He enjoyed listening to music, particularly his favorite groups the Beatles and Bobby McFerrin. He could fix just about anything and was always up for a challenge. Robert’s pride and joy were his grandchildren. He loved spoiling them and just spending time with them every chance that he could. Robert had made a profession of faith and enjoyed being with his church family. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two daughters, Crissy Larsen (Jeramie) of St. Robert, MO, and Tonya Cavazos of the state of Texas; seven grandchildren, Samaraha, Skylar, Mason, and Sonya Larsen, and Sarah, Claudia and Helen Cavazos; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Howard Clark, Charles Clark, and Todd Clark; two sisters: Robin Collins of the State of New Mexico and DeVonna Clark of the State of Texas; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his two sons: Robert and Benjamin; and two brothers: John and Michael Clark. Even though he is gone from our sight, Robert’s spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Graveside services with military honors were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, Missouri with Bro. Randy Duvale officiating. Serving as escorts were family and friends and militayr honors were provided by the Missouri Honors Team. Services were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
