Sandra Ann Harden

Sandra Ann Harden was born on February 13, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of James and Evelyn Revere. Sandra went home to be with her Lord on August 2, 2024, having attained the age of 82 years. She moved to Missouri with her family in 1966. On February 28, 1970, Sandra was united in marriage to Raleigh Lee Harden. They shared 25 beautiful years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in 1995. Working as a cook for Tombs & Sons, Sandra supported the U.S. military for more than 50 years, preparing meals for the soldiers. She received numerous accolades and awards for her professionalism, her consistency and providing a high quality of service to the soldiers. Sandra was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in St. Robert for many years. She had a joyous smile and a kind and caring heart. She was always donating to charities and always said if she was able to bless someone, she would. There are so many wonderful things to say about our mom. In her spare time, she loved to dance (one of her favorite songs to dance to was “Got to Give It Up” by Marvin Gaye), go shopping with her friends Sue Keaton and Gloria Hammond, and walking the trails with Laffie Souser. Most importantly, Sandra loved her family dearly and treasured each moment they spent together. Sandra will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three children: Carlisa Hines of St. Robert, MO, Lawanna Rayford (Kerry Rayford, Sr.) of St. Robert, MO, and Jeraldlyn Austin of St. Robert, MO; three stepchildren: Todd Harden (Lisa) of Temple, TX, Sharon Harden of Ann Venture, FL, and Debbie Harden of Willingboro, NJ; eleven grandchildren: Noey (Patrick), Khiyana (Allova), Kerry Jr., Catina, Damien, Benjamin, Heidi, Brittany, Misty, Annissa, and Melissa; twenty great grandchildren; two siblings: Anna Revere of Atlanta, GA and Ronald Revere of Englewood, CA; several other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter: Shirley Harden; stepson: Reginald Harden; and one brother: Roger Revere. Even though she is gone from our sight, her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Our beloved mother will be missed every day. She was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and advisor. We all meant the world to her as she to us. Our mother was our ROCK and the values she instilled in all of us will live on. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sandra Harden and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
