William Scott LaRochelle

William Scott LaRochelle, son of Henry LaRochelle and Kathryn (Aldrich) LaRochelle, was born September 7, 1966, in Lynn, Massachusetts and departed this life on Friday, November 29, 2024, at his home in St. Robert having attained the age of 58 years. Due to his father working for GE, the family moved out of the country for a short time before coming back to the United States and moving to Stone Mountain, Georgia where Scott graduated from high school. In 1983, Scott entered the United States Army and served his country for 20 years before being discharged in 2003. In 2000, Scott came to Fort Leonard wood and worked in the motor pool division. On October 9, 1997, Scott was united in marriage to Dana L. Mahoney in Las Vegas, Nevada. They shared over 27 years of marriage together and many wonderful memories. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed mowing the grass….his yard was his domain and he was very particular about how it looked. He was a jack of all trades and worked as a mechanic for Post Cab Co. for 15 years. He also serviced law enforcement vehicles. Scott’s family was his main focus, and he loved them dearly. He treasured all the time that they could spend together, especially being with the grandchildren. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dana of the home in St. Robert; his mother, Kathryn LaRochelle of East Sandwich, MA; three children, Daniel Montano (Ann) of Moreland, GA, Lauren Pimentel (Jonathan) of Camdenton, MO, and Cara Kelley (Johnathon) of St. Robert, MO; five grandchildren, Cayden Pimentel, Ella Montano, Anela Montano, Gabriella Pimentel and Adelyn Kelley; his brother, Eric LaRochelle; two sisters, Mary Ellen LaRochelle and Rachel Nance; as well as a host of other family members and many friends. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Henry LaRochelle. Even though he is gone from our sight, Scott’s love for his family will live on in our hearts forever. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024 in the Memorial Chapel of Waynesville, Missouri. The songs "Amazing Grace" by Reba McEntire, "Never Not Remember You" by Cooper Alan, and "Beat You There" by Will Dempsey were played. Services were under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Scott LaRochelle and may be left at the funeral home.
