Charlotte Ann Doba

June 16, 1957 - January 11, 2015

Charlotte Ann Doba, daughter of Alfred Stanley Doba II and Helen (Alexander) Doba, was born June 16, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. As a young child, Charlotte and the family moved to the St. Robert/Dixon area where she has remained the rest of her life. Charlotte was blessed with three children and she loved them dearly. She took great pride in providing for and caring for them. She was a great mom and when the grandchildren came along, she looked for every opportunity to spend time with them. They were her pride and joy and she loved her family dearly. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed going to the creek to fish or just to relax in the water. She loved being outdoors. Charlotte also liked to do puzzles; any kind she could get her hands on. Charlotte passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in her home having attained the age of 57 years, 6 months and 26 days. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, her father: Alfred Doba II of Poplar Bluff, MO; three children: April Zack and husband Chris of St. Robert, MO, Angie Thompson and husband Tommy of Jefferson City, MO and Abby Gan and husband Josh of Crocker, MO; nine grandchildren: Traven, Courtney, Ian, Dalton, Kaleb, Kylie, Brooke, Delaney and Joshua; two great grandchildren: Kaylie and Kinzlea; seven siblings: Donna Farris and husband Pat of St. Louis, MO, Alfred Doba and wife Lucretia of Dixon, MO, Larry Doba and wife Shree of Dixon, MO, Jeanette Rice of Percy, IL, Stephanie Douglas and Brian Owens of Rolla, MO, Margaret Doba of Poplar Bluff, MO and Paul Doba and wife Dawn of Purvis, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Charlotte was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Wagoner. Even though she is gone from our sight, her memory will live on forever in our hearts. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the First Baptist Church of Dixon, Missouri with Pastor Bobby Williford officiating. Serving as escorts were Erick Beasley, Nathan Beasley, Alfred Doba, Paul Doba, Dalton Thompson and Larry Doba. Burial followed in the Gasconade Cemetery of Dixon, Missouri. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charlotte Doba and may be left at the funeral home.
