Daniel Lee Burnett

March 2, 1983 - April 30, 2022

Daniel Lee Burnett, son of David Lee Burnett and Cynthia Gail Eubanks, was born March 2, 1983, in Rolla, Missouri. As a young boy, Daniel grew up spending time in both Dixon, Missouri, and Mississippi. After graduating from high school, Daniel worked in a shipyard and did welding in Mississippi. After the hurricane Katrina hit the south, Daniel moved back to Pulaski County, Missouri where he worked with his father on a buried cable crew. In his spare time, Daniel loved spending time with his fiancé, Crystal, who he had a special relationship with and with his nieces and nephews who he enjoyed playing with. He also liked to be outdoors, and you could find him fishing or hunting. Daniel was a MMA fan and enjoyed watching the matches and also playing cards with his buddies. Daniel passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, having attained the age of 39 years. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Cindi Eubanks of Ocean Springs, MS; paternal grandparents: Freda and Fredrick Tripp of Dixon, MO; maternal grandfather: Henry “Hank” and June Eubanks of St. Robert, MO; three sisters: Casie Horn (Richard) of Ocean Springs, MS, Suzi Lachowicz (Joshua) of Dixon, MO, and Rebecca Bierman of Dixon, MO; fiancé: Crystal Haag of Dixon, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his father: David Lee Burnett; paternal grandfather: Robert Lynn Burnett; and maternal grandmother: Esther “Kitty” Eubanks. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Sheppard Cemetery of Dixon, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Daniel Burnett and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
