Edna Mae Inselmann

July 27, 1946 - February 6, 2018

Edna Mae Inselmann, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Evelyn (Varner) Chapman, was born July 27, 1946. Edna was a hard worker and a great cook. She worked in several restaurants through the years loved fixing meals for her customers and visiting with them. Edna was blessed with six children: Tracey, Melissa, Henry, Bobby, Tony and Mark and she loved them tremendously and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed being outdoors more than anything and was either working in her vegetable garden or her flowers. Edna passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in her home having attained the age of 71 years, 6 months and 10 days. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Edna leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Bobby Inselmann; five children: Tracey Koval (Mike) of Panama City Beach, FL, Melissa Wilson of Dixon, MO, Henry West (Lucinda) of Waynesville, MO, Bobby West of Dixon, MO and Mark West of St. Robert, MO; eleven grandchildren: Octava Butler (Frank), Malorie Burrows (Frank), Joseph Butler (Tawny), Shelby West (Matt), Angel Guehrer, Addison West, Elizabeth Kershaw, Taylor Guehrer, Ashley West, Quest Winkle and Octavian West; ten great grandchildren: Eddie Veccohine, Tyler Veccohine, Elijah Smith, Harley Thomas, Nevaeh Fogle, Dallas Jordan, Randy Vestal, Faith Butler, Brooklyn Banner and Colby Banner; four siblings: George Chapman (Melanie) of Paynesville, OH, Susie Roberts (Larry) of Waynesville, MO, Audrie Gregory of Waynesville, MO and Pauline Bell of Paynesville, OH; sister-in-law: Diane Meier of Paynesville, OH; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her son, Tony West; and one brother: Buck Meier. Graveside services were held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Goodall Cemetery of Newburg, Missouri with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. The song “What a Day that Will Be” was sung by Edna’s granddaughter, Malorie and Frank Burrows. Serving as escorts were Henry West, Joe Butler, Taylor Guehrer, Johnno Smith, Mike Koval and Frank Zeigenbein. Memorial contributions are suggested in memory of Edan Inselmann and may be left at the funeral home.
