SFC (Ret) Ellis “Leroy” Lofton, 79, of St. Robert, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Burial with military honors will follow in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. SFC (Ret) Lofton is survived by his wife: Lois Lofton of the home; four children: James Lofton of Waynesville, MO, Billy Lofton (Cheryl) of St. Robert, MO, Jeff Lofton of Waynesville, MO, and Julie Romans of St. Robert, MO; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren: one brother: Chester Lofton of Bossier, LA; two sisters: Linda Lofton of Bossier, LA, and Faye Brannan of Blanchard, LA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of SFC (Ret) Lofton and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
