Garry Dewayne Fincher

February 13, 1962 - March 9, 2017

Garry Dewayne Fincher, son of the late Henry and Henrietta (Murray) Fincher, was born February 13, 1962 in Waynesville, Missouri where he grew up and graduated from school. Garry worked at Walmart and took care of his mother in her later years. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting memorabilia, especially anything that had to do with Star Wars and super heroes. He also collected movies of which he had over 7,000. Garry had made a profession of faith at an early age and attended Westside Baptist Church. Garry passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 in his home having attained the age of 55 years. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him. Garry leaves to cherish his memory, his twin brother: Larry Fincher of Columbia, MO; three brothers: Pat Fincher of Waynesville, MO, Richard Fincher of Rogers, OH and Kenny Juede of the state of Florida; four aunts: Alice Murray, Enkie Rutko, Edna Nelson and Erma Skinner; two uncles: Randy and Herman Murray; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Garry was preceded in death by one sister and his stepfather, Kenneth Juede. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. The songs “Amazing Grace” and “Go Rest High on that Mountain” were played. Private burial was held in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Garry Fincher and may be left at the funeral home.
