Kaleb Veasman

September 1, 2000 - August 31, 2018

Kaleb Veasman, son of Jason Veasman and Amber Magner, was born September 1, 2000 in Rolla, Missouri. Kaleb grew up in Dixon, Missouri where he attended school. He completed his high school education via OTC during the summer of 2018, eager to begin his future occupation in the fall. Kaleb worked for a time for M&M Roll-Off and was very talented in the field of construction. In his spare time between working and going to school, Kaleb loved farming with his grandpa Stanley Martin running the dozer and putting up hay. He was just a good all-around farm hand. He loved spending time at the river with his friends and family and in the outdoors while hunting and fishing. Kaleb also enjoyed sports and played American Legion Baseball and Basketball. Kaleb made a profession of faith in 2017 at the Santee Church revival and was baptized. Kaleb passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Mercy Hospital of Springfield, Missouri having attained the age of 17 years. Kaleb is survived by his parents: Amber & Wayne Magner of Dixon, MO and Jason Veasman and Tara Hoard of Dixon, MO; siblings: Landon Veasman, Rylenn Veasman, Matthew Magner, and Khale Hoard all of Dixon, MO, Spencer Magner of Vienna, MO, Isabelle Magner of Dixon, MO and Lainey Magner of Vienna, MO; niece: Josie Veasman of Dixon, MO; grandparents: Jesse and Glenna Bilyeu, Joanne Veasman, Kenneth and Linda Veasman, all of Dixon, MO, Mike and Roberta Juergens of Vienna, MO, Wayne Magner of Vienna, MO and Stanley and Becky Martin of Dixon, MO; great-grandparents: Harley and Erma Johnson, Howard and Emma Jones and Violet Edwards all of Dixon, MO; girlfriend: Sevanah Fuller of Vienna, MO; other relatives and a host of friends. Kaleb was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather Roland Wagner, maternal great-parents: Basil and Lola Howser, maternal great grandparents: William Jesse and Dessie Bilyeu, paternal grandparents: Gertrude and Hugh Veasman; and uncle: Matthew William Bilyeu. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 in the Dixon High School Gymnasium of Dixon, Missouri with Bro. Mike Shaughnessy officiating. The songs “The Dance”, “Go Rest High on that Mountain”, “I’ll See You Again” and “Good Ole Boys Like Me” were played. Serving as escorts were Landon Veasman, Chance York, Logan Kellogg, Khale Hoard, Dakota Nelson, Avery Adams, Colton Baker and Cole Barnett. Serving as honorary escorts were Spencer Magner, Seth Bilyeu, Andy Veasman, Logan McMillian and Wyatt Shelton. Burial was held in the West Fairview Cemetery of Dixon, Missouri. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kaleb Veasman and may be sent to Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
