Lillian Jeffries Thomson 75, left this life on January 22, 2015. Lillian was born December 19, 1939 in Pulaski County, Missouri. She was the fifth of seven children born to Leonard and Cora Storie Jeffries. Lillian was raised and educated in Laquey, Missouri. On October 9, 1958 Lillian married William Thomson of Laquey, Missouri. Bill and Lillian have five children; Nancy, James, Leroy, Dale and Lee. They lived and raised their children in the nomadic military lifestyle. Lillian took great pleasure and pride in being a military wife, mother and later in life a grandmother. She enjoyed being a member of the Laquey VFW 3168 Auxiliary, she loved making beautiful quilts, fishing and camping with Bill was a lifestyle in the summer months and during the quiet times she took great pride in her flowers and hummingbirds. Lillian is survived by her children; Nancy and husband Neal of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, James and wife Beverly of Lebanon, Missouri, Leroy and wife Sherry of Morley, Missouri, Dale and wife Betsy of Laquey, Missouri, Lee and partner Mike of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by grandchildren Tom, Josh, Sabrina, Larry, John, Greg, Cassandra Kay, Cassandra Mae and Savannah, many great-grandchildren, two sisters Pauline and Martha and a host of nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Bill, two sisters Edna and Alma and two brothers David and Dale. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, in Memorial Chapel and Crematory of Waynesville /St. Robert. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery, under the care and direction of Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, and contributions can be left at the funeral home.
