Thomas Lynne "Tommy" Price

April 8, 1953 - July 14, 2016

Thomas Lynne Price, son of the late Robert A. and Margaret (Morgan) Price was born in the south side of Chicago, Illinois, where he grew up and was a parishioner at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He also attended St. Patrick’s grade school and Mt. Carmel High School in Chicago. “Tommy,” as he was known to most of his family and friends, worked for U.S. Steel Corporation after graduating school. He also worked for a chain of nursing homes in the Chicago area however; his most recent job was as the security and maintenance manager for Turtle Bay Realty in Sunrise Beach, Missouri. Tommy was a gifted athlete in his youth. He enjoyed sports of all kind, especially ice- hockey, in which he had exceled in. He loved fishing, water sports, gardening and cooking. His best times were simply spending quality time with close friends and family. Tommy loved the holidays and especially looked forward to the annual horse-shoe tournament with his long time buddies in He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret. Tommy leaves to cherish his memory, one sister, Jacqueline Pine of Overland Park, IL; his brother: Robert Price and his wife, Robin of Overland Park, KS; Tommy’s ex-wife, Dianne; several nieces, Jennifer, Emily, Bess, Jackie, Courtney and Ashley; one great-niece, Bella and one great-nephew, Carson. Tommy, a big man with an even bigger heart, will forever be missed by those who knew and loved him. No services are planned at this time.
