Victoria B. Millan

December 23, 1923 - May 11, 2017

Victoria B. Millan, daughter of the late Saltiel S. and Raquel H. (Cid) Briones, was born December 23, 1923 in Mexico City, Mexico where she grew up and attended school. Victoria moved to Santa Monica, California before moving to Los Angeles to work for Paper Mate in Los Angeles for 20 years. She then moved to St. Robert, Missouri to be near her daughter. After her daughter moved to the state of Washington, Victoria decided to stay in the St. Robert area. In her spare time, Victoria enjoyed doing ceramics, but her greatest joy came from helping people that did not understand English. She helped on Fort Leonard Wood with their English classes. Victoria was a member of the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and attended until her health did not permit her to do so. Victoria passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 in the Life Care Center of Waynesville having attained the age of 93 years. She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her. Victoria leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter: Alberta V. Fulmer (Mike) of Fort Lewis, WA; cousin: Gloria Briones of Huntington Beach, CA; one grandchild: Gabriel Fulmer; one great grandson; adopted family: Ann and Randal Willis of St. Robert, MO, Randy and Tasha Willis of Dixon, MO, Ethan Willis of Dixon, MO, Eli Willis of Dixon, MO, and Mattie Williams of Iberia, MO; and special friends: Susan and Kenneth Bassett of St. Robert, MO; other relatives and friends. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church of St. Robert, Missouri with Father John Groner officiating. Music was provided by Evelyn Horine and serving as escorts were family and friends. Burial followed in the Resurrection Cemetery of St. Robert, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Victoria Millan and may be left at the funeral home.
